What can you engrave?
We engrave wooden handles, steel blades, axe heads and most hand tools. Coatings, finishes and odd shapes can change what's possible, which is why we check every piece before we quote it.
Will engraving affect the blade?
We engrave the flat of the blade or the handle and keep well away from the cutting edge, so your tool works just like it did before.
How do I see the design before it's final?
Once your invoice is paid, we do a test run by engraving your design onto tape laid over the tool. You can see the exact size and placement on your actual piece, and we only engrave it for real after you approve.
Is my tool safe with you?
We handle every piece with care, but materials can react to the laser in unexpected ways, so items you bring us are engraved at your own risk. If we think a tool isn't a good fit for the laser, we'll tell you before you pay.
How long does it take?
Most orders are finished within 10 business days after you approve the test run. Shipping time is extra, and rush orders may be available for a fee.
Do you sell tools, or do I need to bring my own?
This service is for tools you already own. If you need help choosing a piece to engrave, reach out and we'll point you in the right direction.
